Wendy Currie, MSW, LICSW


Biography

Wendy Currie, MSW, LICSW, graduated with a BA in psychology in 1989 and subsequently got her start at McLean Hospital. She began her career as the secretary in Admissions, and later held positions as the coordinator and administrator for psychiatric triage. In 2008, she earned an MSW from the Boston University Graduate School of Social Work. In 2011, Ms. Currie was promoted to her current position of director of psychiatric admissions. In this role, she oversees inpatient admissions across all McLean campuses.

Since its inception in 2013, Ms. Currie has also been involved with the LEADER program. She recently assumed the position of director of the LEADER Continuum of Care. In addition to her administrative oversight of the program, she also treats LEADER patients in the outpatient clinic. Ms. Currie is passionate about serving this patient population and working as a liaison to various police, fire, and EMS departments, as well as employee assistance programs for first responders.
