Biography
Nina Bernard, MSW, LICSW, is the program director of Appleton, a residential treatment program that supports individuals who struggle with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder or who experience psychosis. She earned a master of social work degree from Simmons University and completed her training at McLean’s Geriatric Psychiatry Inpatient Service. She then transitioned to the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Inpatient program, where she worked as a clinical social worker and ultimately served as lead clinical social worker. Ms. Bernard was also previously the associate director of admissions at The Pavilion.
Ms. Bernard’s clinical interests include mood disorders and psychotic disorders. She actively participates in training and supervising licensed clinical social workers.
