Biography
Christopher Dell’Erba, MSN, RN, A-IPC, joined McLean Hospital in 2024 as the nurse director for the Older Adult Program. His professional experience in psychiatry has been in caring for individuals across the life span, with a primary focus on the unique needs of the older adult population.
Mr. Dell’Erba brings his diverse experience from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, working in various roles with the Department of Mental Health inpatient system, as well as with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Healthcare Safety and Quality as a statewide health care associated infections (HAI) nurse advisor. It is in this role that he assisted several state-operated long-term care and congregate care settings with developing comprehensive policies, training, and education for staff in HAI prevention. In 2023, Mr. Dell’Erba received certification as an associate - infection control and prevention from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology.
